African Americans have supported Emperor Haile Sellasie and Ethiopian people during the Italian occupation from 1936- 1941. Several African Americans raised funds to help Ethiopia stop the Italian aggression. Some volunteered to fight for Ethiopia.

The Emperor made it, his objective to visit and thank your church during one of his six visits to the USA.

Please keep up the good work and we Ethiopians will be be with you on all your efforts.
