I have strong confidence that obama will win the democratic party nomination. If he gets elected, the first black president of the USA, things will change. I believe Obama has the same vision as Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. Equality, freedom and injustice will be served in his term. Also it’s a good step and high moral for an African American to get into real position of power.

Adey, your job and what you do to help Obama get elected is very important. May God bless your efforts and I do hope many Ethiopian Americans will help you to achieve your goal.

As a Black man who realizes that there is no other viable Black presidential candidate on the horizon of US political life for the next decade except Obama, I would like to see him win the Presidency. But I am a hard core long term member of the Democratic party who volunteered for more than 800 hours and was duly rewarded upon the re-election of Bill Clinton. I get hurt and offended when people across the political spectrum, specially on the Far Right pile blame and accusations on Hillary Clinton for the shortcomings of Bill Clinton’s presidency but fail to acknowledge their massive achievements. So it is not only out of loyalty but also deep conviction that the country and the rest of the world will be in good hands if she wins the top job by weathering the tirade and storm the GOP will throw at her during the presidential election campaign, that I am her proud supporter.

But people let’s not get derailed here..whomever wins the democratic nomination we shoul all show more fervor and passion in supporting him or her all the way to the White house.

Hi Adey

It is nice to see some of you people are actively involved in helping Obama’s Campain. We here in Ethiopia are following his day to day achievements and talking about the speaches he makes. I am sure this time he is the man with the Pelet at hand. Hillary is also fine but when it comes between the two I think the clintons had the chance to contribute their share this time should one for Obama the African american who is for a change that makes a difference to America and the world at large.

Keep up the good work. Yes, volunteers can make a difference! Grass roots can be reached w ell with the effort of volunteers. Barak has a new vision: unity. That is commendable. Plus he has shown himself a person of change by offering a carrot and stick for his opponents. That is wonderful. Please stay helping Barak attain his goal by volunteering!

It is good to see your involvement in this election, Adey.

I hope Obama keeps winning support from democrats. I don’t mind having Clinton if he doesn’t win.

I hope the happer class democrats, independent & some repuplicans will continue to support obama. I prey it is not just a ploy to hurt Clinton. I hope I don’t see that once Clinton is out of the picture they go back to their traditional party- the Republican Party during the fall election.

I also beleive clinton is more capble of winning in the fall.

Adey, keep up the good work. It is a privilage to be part of this. I did volunteer in WA state today, 02/09/08 for Obama. He already won 18 states and hopefully will continue sweeping red and blue states alike. The week of 02/10/08 is the Potomac primary i hope all habeshas will not miss being part of this revolution…
