I wish I was in NYC or DC to attend this. I have viewed his other films especially Sankofa. I have heard him at a conference at Harvard – he is amazing. Proud of his Ethiopian heritage, he holds insightful comments about the entertainment industry and is hell-bent on paving the way for other Ethiopians in the diaspora. Make it a date night and go watch his movie. I know you will not be disappointed.
