Let me first observe a minute of silence to the fearless Ethiopian Warriors....

As we commemorate this grand day in our African calendars lets our hearts and minds go towards the real issue at hand, and that is our African dignity. I'm very sure Menelik II went to war for every African son and daughter, irrespective of their current location.

Ethiopians did their heritage proud. I hope they take the credit for being the only free and uncolonized inhabited country in Africa, surely the last stand-point.

I read this article and Prof.Ayele Bekerie put my thoughts in check on many issues that had been distorted by propagandist on various intricate aspects of the war.I had previously met Ethiopians who trivialized the fight, perhaps I thought to myself, they were just jaded because Ethiopia has been in existence since Existence(Check Genesis). But I appreciate that the article opened my eyes the way it did.

Next year on this day I plan to mobilize a few friends from Ba Beta Kristyan, and the Ethiopian community in Kenya to have a rendition,a reenactment of the Battle of Adwa, I hope I can find brave Ethiopians of the mantle of Menelik II as well as dramatically- vindictive actors from the other side equal to the then Italian soldiers. They were forgiven already and so they were redeemed, however I will have to find some, at the same time not underplaying the willingness of my Ethiopian friends.

I approve of the website and the vigil eye of the Ethiopian guards on our African Man in the White House, totally new ball game.Echoing the words of Voice of America's Chaka Ssali 'Keep hope alive.'

Egziabher Yestillin,

p.s(I hope I got that right).
