ETHIOPIA JAPAN KARATE ASSOCIATION
we are all very saddened and touched by the tragedy that has hit Japan. My former, Kendo, Aikido and Karate teachers as well as some of my students are Japanese. But apart from that you are our brothers and sisters in spirit and I am attaching a photograph of the minute of silence we held for all the victims of the disaster. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I attach photos with One of my Dojos where I have Japanese, Canadians, Italians, French, German, USA, Tanzanians and Ethiopian and other country JKA Karate students similar events were held in my other Dojos

Best Wishes and bright future for all Japanese,

Tesfaye,

Your story is truelly inspiring. It seems that the combination of the skills and knowledge you are aquiring with Aikido and your will to help others is creating a wave that energizes everyone around you. I look forward to hearing more about your work in Ethiopia.

Best of luck

I am proud of all Ethiopians who are successful abroad. We know the challenge of living in any country other than our sweet home, but the deep love keeps us strong always. All the experiences we gather in different countries inspire us to see our home and work hard. Nice inspiration Tesfaye!!!! Thank you Tseday

Chernet ~

There are several dojos in Michigan. You may go to the Aikiweb page at the following link: http://www.aikiweb.com/search/ and enter your state to search.

You're never too old to start! And may it be a great beginning for you!

Great work Tesfaye. And thank you Tadias for highlighting the Awasa Dojo and Tesfaye's work. And thank you Tseday Alegegn for the story. I have seen beautiful Awassa and just like Tesfaye said it is indeed Ethiopia's California. My dream is to retire in Awassa.

I live in Michigan, can you please tell me if you know of a good Aikido training place in Michigan? Also, I am over 40, can I still do Aikido?

Thank you,
